On Tuesday, April 28, the Senate Public Safety Committee will hear Senate Bill 697.

SB697, authored by State Senator Mark DeSaulnier (D-7), would prohibit the sale of handguns other than “owner-authorized (or ‘smart’) handguns” — that is, handguns with a permanent, programmable biometric feature that renders the firearm useless unless activated by the authorized user. No proven, viable handgun of this type has ever been developed. The bill would require the California Attorney General to report to the Governor and Legislature on the availability of owner-authorized handguns; once the Attorney General finds that these guns are available, only “owner-authorized” handguns could be approved for sale in California .

During the debates between Republicans and Democrats, it became clear that Democrats were prepared to vote down every amendment offered by the Republican minority – and that’s what they did.

We were there to monitor the debate. Throughout the mark-up, we interacted directly with Members of Congress and their staffers on this dangerous legislation

God gave Moses the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai to serve as principles of moral behavior for the human race. The Ten Commandments of God are the foundation of the moral code and legal system of justice for Western Christian civilization.

The architecture of the U. S. Supreme Court building reflects this biblical foundation. At the center of the sculpture over the east portico of the Supreme Court Building, there is the image of Moses holding the two tablets of the Ten Commandments; these are also engraved over the chair of the Chief Justice and on the bronze doors of the Supreme Court.

The Decalogue is recorded both in the Books of Exodus (20:1-17) and Deuteronomy (5:6-21), two of the five Books of Moses (also known as the Torah, Law, or Pentateuch). The Ten Commandments were given to Moses on two tablets of stone on Mount Sinai.

This page first presents the Ten Commandments in the English translation of the passage from Deuteronomy. The phrases in red comprise the Ten Commandments. There are twelve phrases in red, as the major religions of the West adopted different phrases of the first paragraph, accounting for the variation in numbering of the Ten Commandments for Judaism, Catholics, Orthodox, and Protestants.

A Comparative Table follows. The first column are the Ten Commandments in Judaism, which are presented in Hebrew in the image that follows. The second column are the Ten Commandments in the order given by Augustine of Hippo, and the third column that of Origen of Alexandria. While there is considerable variation, Roman Catholics and Lutherans follow the order given by Augustine, whereas Eastern Catholics, Orthodox, and other Protestants follow the order given by Origen.

We know there are Ten Commandments, because the Bible tells us so in Exodus 34:28, Deuteronomy 10:4, and the following passage:

“He proclaimed to you his covenant, which he commanded you to keep:
the Ten Commandments, which he wrote on two tablets of stone.”

I am the Lord thy God ,
who have brought thee out of the land of Egypt (Mizrahim), out of the house of bondage.

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain ; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain.

Remember to keep holy the sabbath day ; six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work; but the seventh day is a sabbath, that is, the rest of the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not do any work therein, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy ox, nor thy ass, nor any of thy beasts, nor the stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest, even as thyself. Remember that thou also didst serve in Egypt, and the Lord thy God brought thee out from thence with a strong hand, and a stretched out arm. Therefore hath he commanded thee that thou shouldst observe the sabbath day.

Honour thy father and mother
that thy days be long in the land which the Lord gives thee.

Thou shalt not kill.

Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Thou shalt not steal.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s (goods)
house or fields, nor his male or female slaves, nor his ox or ass, or anything that belongs to him.

Deuteronomy 5:6-21

The table below shows the four different traditions of numbering: Philonic (P); Talmudic (T); Augustinian (A); and Lutheran (L).

“I am the Lord Thy God.” “Thou shalt have no other Gods before me.” Diversity is not mentioned in these Ten-Commandment directives. However the election results clearly indicated the American people have put other gods before Him.

People voted in Obama with compromised reasoning and surely not common sense. There is no debate on abortion, homosexuality, redistribution of wealth, and much more.

Regardless of America being a great world leader, Marxists have moved in and made it their home. Citizens were elated and comfortable voting in a secular, socialist, and anti-traditional man to be our leader.

People of America claim commitment to God, yet their humanist leanings led them, following the election, to weep joyful tears for a man that they knew nothing about. Few paid attention to this man’s background. Obama’s rhetoric, skillfully delivered, implied a person was confused, or mistaken, if they told the truth of his devious history.

The young like the idea of socialism; what could be better than doing D work, but receiving an A mark. Some young people actually said, “We do not have to worry about putting gas in the car, or paying our mortgage. We hope this will take place very soon.”

There were 95% of blacks and a great percentage of Latinos that voted for Obama. Yet this was not considered racist? Many of them knew of his abortion leanings, but denial was used to insist that he would not enforce his views on the nation. Their naivety insists that increasing taxes on the supposed rich promotes prosperity.

Some blacks said, as did Michele Obama, they now could be proud of America. Oprah Winfrey and Whoopi Goldberg stated similar sentiments that they could now “finally put down their suitcases.” There was no humbleness in these statements, only entitlement thinking that now has many saying that Universal health care is a right for all.”

People projected god like qualities to a man who smooth talked them into believing he was capable of all things, while they, including many Christians, rejected the teachings of Almighty God. They were right; for this man will do everything he can to reshape this nation. He has the perfect situation. America gave away our Godly heritage years ago and with Congressional backing and a compromised nation, he has the right away.

Spike Lee said on one of his pre-elections ads that the old America no longer exists, and “Republicans were TV people stuck in the Father Knows Best, Howdy Dowdy, and Leave It To Beaver series of the past.” I am grateful that we are stuck in the joy of these times. If we allow the enemy from within to destroy our joy then we become a victim.

So what direction do we take now? It is simple; we must start with the basics, which is common sense. This comes from God’s laws and the laws of nature. Eagle Forum of Sacramento’s mission statement is to protect our children for survival of America, but we must work with all age groups to rekindle the American Way.

In 2009, Eagle Forum of Sacramento will work to restore common sense by bringing to the forefront the Ten Commandments and how they relate to political agendas that affect our freedoms. Authority figures, including the clergy, have turned their backs on clarity of right and wrong. Only through the truth can any resemblance of America be saved.

Obama supported Washington DC’s draconian gun laws as “reasonable”. He will appoint judges to subjectively decide such issues based on amorphous fairness and justice standards rather than what the Constitution states. Do you want a government of laws, not men – or Obama’s frightening alternative?

Senator Obama stated he cannot ban guns because he cannot get enough votes. With Democratic control of Congress, he can get enough votes for gun control and sloppy judges . Concerned voters must inform themselves about Obama’s past gun control support and not rely on the slick information from his campaign. A concerted effort exists to mislead gun owners and sportsmen Obama is their friend and supporter, which evidence directly contradicts.

Churches will be required to perform homosexual marriage ceremonies or face prosecution
under anti-discrimination laws. The California Supreme Court recently ruled that
medical professionals may not defer treatment to another professional based on
their religious objections. In other words, Christians and those with moral beliefs
must check their conscience at the door when they arrive at work. The same case
law will apply to churches. Pastors will no longer be allowed to refuse marrying
homosexuals based on their religious beliefs.

Businesses will be prosecuted for not participating in homosexual ceremonies. A
New Mexico photography company is being prosecuted for refusing to photograph the
“commitment ceremony” of a homosexual couple. The full force of the government will
used to make citizens publicly accept homosexuality.

Married couples will no longer be considered “bride and groom,” but “Party A and
Party B.” A young couple in Placer County wrote the terms “bride” and “groom” on
their marriage license, which was returned from the state as an “unacceptable alteration.”
A husband and wife are legally referred to now as Party A and Party B according
to the California government. By redefining marriage, every marriage has already
been affected.
The role of parents will be diminished. The family unit is already under assault
with no-fault divorce, acceptance of single parenthood, and nanny government usurping
the role of fathers. Homosexual marriage worsens this trend by giving government
approval to single-sex parenting. Children need both a mother and a father. By
approving homosexual marriage, government and society denies children their right
and need for both parents.
These are just a few of the negative, damaging consequences of allowing homosexual
marriage in our society. When you encounter a neighbor, church member, work associate,
or family member who says, “I’m not a bigot-and homosexual marriage won’t affect
me,” remind them of just how much it will impact their family and all families.
This is not an issue of bigotry, but of ensuring marriage isn’t redefined by four
activist judges. Wanting children to be raised by both of their parents isn’t bigoted
either. What’s truly bigoted is telling Christians, Jews, Muslims and other people
of faith that their beliefs must be silenced.

Their goal is to change the principles of common sense that our nation was founded upon, into a utopia world where all ideas, values, morals, ethics, lifestyles, religions, and cultures are equal.

In order to do this they must erase common sense principles based on Judeo-Christian beliefs, closely held personal beliefs such as pro-life, and a so-called “white” way of living (white privilege), which do not agree with them. This is happening in schools, businesses, and government and is having a profound negative effect upon our churches, traditional family life, and the stability of our country.

The destructive result of the past 20-30 years of this education is now apparent. The children, teens, and adults exposed to this education are now the citizens shouting loudest for Obama. Apathetic adults are charged with sudden enthusiasm for a man who promises them a quick fix for their failures and young people who see him as a rescuer for a way out of individual responsibility.

For those people who do not have computers, do not listen to talk radio, and/or have little exposure to the truth, they fall easily into diversity thinking through victimization, shame, blame and guilt. The outcome is diversity addiction that guides them down a road to loss of conscientious individual freedom.

But we believe there are enough of us left that are knowledgeable or borderline thinkers that can stop the programs. How? Letting our voices be heard.

Knowing your rights is very important for you do not have to compromise your stand when it comes to your beliefs. You do not have to attend diversity programs against your will in the work places. You do not have to have your child indoctrinated in public schools? Your representatives in government do not have to go along with diversity concepts that undermine our government, our American way of life, or the life of unborn children, the citizens of America.

If we continue to walk the path of unnatural diversity education, the revolutionary change will occur at an even faster rate than presently, for we will have more and more people educated in this way of thinking. It is addictive.

Already we have a nation that is ready for an Obama or a Hillary, and if not now, will be in the 2012 election.

We can make a difference but only if we care about the future of our children and grandchildren and I find it hard to believe that you would not care about this. If an Obama or Hillary ever gets into office, we may never be able to reverse it.

Why? Because subversive education has changed the actual thinking of Americans and thus the positive change that came with Reagan after the Carter years, may not be possible after an Obama or Hillary type gets into office. The damage could be permanent and this great nation may very well cease to exist.

So we ask that you join us in this very important endeavor to stop enforced education diversity programs. Learn how to say NO to them. Join us on our march to common sense. There is hope that we can look at our country and know that it lies in our hands, not in the hands of those who want to change it into a foreign land that will be of no use to future generations.

By saying No to subversive programs, we point out the truth, which sets people free. To compromise America is poor judgment and makes no sense. Utilizing the tools of our forefathers is good judgment and makes common sense.

Help us use the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence to save this nation. There is a right and there is a wrong in life and to rob us of that, which has made our nation the greatest ever, is wrong.
